With recent advances in technology, wires are becoming obsolete. Companies are moving towards developing wireless technology. Many people argue that cell-phones are what started the wireless trend. As long as the battery is charged, you can use a cell-phone anywhere you want, and there would be no need for a cord.

Many gadgets are already wireless, but there is still a lot more types of technology that can be wireless. For example, many computers and computer accessories are becoming wireless. However, these devices still need to be charged with a wire.

Since technology is constantly evolving, many companies are looking into ways to make popular gadgets completely wireless; even the charging mechanism will be wireless.

Will technology every be completely wireless? It’s hard to tell. Unless you want to spend a lot of money on batteries, you may always need a cord to charge a device. Electricity is needed to charge gadgets, and so far, wires are the only safe conduit for electricity.

However, there are other devices, like the charging pad, that allow you to charge multiple gadgets at once. Perhaps technology will evolve so much that we will no longer need wires. Future technology is sure to give us some sort of freedom from wires.
